Top Chef has traveled to some breathtaking locations all across America over the years, from New York to Las Vegas and all around the state of California. But for Season 15, Top Chef is headed somewhere it’s never gone before.
Get ready to pack your knives and go to the great state of Colorado next season of Top Chef. A brand-new batch of cheftestants are set to explore the culinary scenes of Denver, Boulder, and Telluride while taking in the beautiful scenery, of course. “We are always on the hunt for the next great culinary destination and Colorado is fast becoming a hot spot for young chefs and foodies, making it an ideal backdrop for our upcoming season,” Shari Levine, Executive Vice President, Current Production, Bravo Media, said in a statement. “Our new cheftestants will have an abundance of inspiration to pull from as they cook amid the awe-inspiring scenery and explore the bourgeoning culinary scenes from cities to mountain resorts.”
Cathy Ritter, the director of the Colorado Tourism Office, also gave a taste of what you can expect from Top Chef‘s time in the Centennial State. “Colorado is the ideal locale for ‘Top Chef’s’ first visit to the Rocky Mountains, and we cannot wait for viewers to experience the scenic beauty, hospitality and vibrancy of some of our thriving culinary destinations, including The Mile High City of Denver, Boulder and Telluride,” she said in a statement.
Production on Top Chef Season 15 will begin this spring, and the new season is set to premiere later this year.
The cheftestants headed down to Charleston, South Carolina for Season 14 of Top Chef. Brooke Williamson, who previously won runner-up in Season 10, took home the coveted title of Top Chef last season.
